Abstract
The lesson was aimed firstly to publicize Seattle University´s work: the question, who are we?, and then try to condense what Father Stephen V. Sundborg, SJ has learned from experience through seventeen years as rector of the University of Seattle, about the true mission of a Jesuit university and he shares five lessons such as: Define the mission well, the new era of lay leadership in Jesuit education, more is learned through contact than concepts, common curriculum and facilities, and the Jesuit mission is easy; finally, he proposes certain lines of thought about the association between Seattle University and the Universidad Centroamericana.
